Multimodal Internet Access Project

The Multimodal Internet Access Project at Queen's University Belfast aims to make the Internet more accessible to visually Impaired users through audio and haptic (touch) feedback. A multimodal browser plug-in (with audio and haptic feedback) has been developed to explore how basic concepts in spatial navigation can be conveyed in a collaborative environment between users with and without visual impairments. This project is supported by Eduserv.
