John D'Arcy is a singer songwriter and sound artist from Lisburn, Northern Ireland.  He has performed across Northern Ireland as a soloist and with his band The Great Bunch of Lads.  John's sound art has been performed at festivals in Belfast, Cork and Limerick.  

Having focused on the use voice and text within electroacoustic composition during his Bachelors and Masters degree at the Sonic Arts Research Centre, John began his PhD exploring the use of poetry in sound art (under the supervision of Michael Alcorn and Sinead Morrissey, English Dept).
